Diageo is the global drinks giant and the pioneer of transformative business services. Francesca started her career at Diageo in finance, in the 1990s, in a long and happy partnership and worked to create measurable impact, most recently in the source-to-pay global rollout. Francesca restructured and elevated the efficiency of Diageo’s change methodology with much success.

2012 - 2015
Reed Exhibitions is the world’s leading B2B event company, part of the RELX Group. Francesca worked on a programme that aimed to transform enterprise architecture. Francesca mobilised the programme in Europe and Asia, setting it on the path to delivery. She worked in Europe, US, China and Japan. In 2013, for her efforts, she was bestowed the ‘Passion for Winning’ award.

2011 - 2012
Inmarsat is the global leading provider of satellite communication services. Francesca turned around a global business solution to do with customer relationship management, with trackable success and setting the programme on the path to delivery.
Two consultants that Francesca met at Inmarsat, Guillermo Acilu and Kiran Venkatesh, went on to found a tech start-up and selected Francesca as a non-executive director for their board, in 2017.
2009 - 2010
Snapp was a startup in the mobile apps and digital space. This was Francesca’s own entrepreneurial venture aimed at empowering organisations to build digital capabilities. Snapp’s first app that taught Chinese went on sale in the Apple App Store in Feb 2010.
The best testimonial? Grant Passey, Snapp co-founder and chief executive officer, has remained an adviser and is a life long friend.
2008 - 2009
Meteor is the mobile company in Ireland, owned by Eircom. Francesca played a key role in delivering a billing and customer relationship solution. Crucial to success was her engagement of the finance stakeholders. This obtained buy-in from Eircom for a further multi-£m investment that assured launch.

2007 - 2008
The flagship company in the France Telecom portfolio. Francesca led the technical work-streams, between the Orange and Accenture teams. She implemented a customer relationship management solution to the broadband business in the UK as well as outsourced sites in India.

1999 - 2006
The global eye health company. Francesca led the delivery of a business solution in EMEA markets and the European Logistics Centre. She redesigned financial processes in a centralised distribution context. Initially recruited as the troubleshooter for the Finance Director, a formative professional experience, Francesca progressed to project leadership in a long and successful engagement.

Francesca learnt the ropes of financial and management accounting with The Intercontinental Hotels Group at their luxury flagship hotel in London. Her 5-year employment started the moment she arrived in London from her native country, Italy. Armed with her education and interpersonal skills, (and only a working knowledge of English), she started to relentlessly chase her dreams.
When travelling through the US and the Caribbean, Francesca was called to support the launch of the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, Florida, where she assured that all financial processes would be in place at launch.
